Nigeria, a country in West Africa, is a nation brimming with mineral, natural and human resources
It is no doubt that the average Nigerian is highly cerebral and talented and given the right circumstances, excels in whatever they do.
Take for instance, Nigerian Afro-beats queen, Tiwa Savage, who performed her hit single “Keys to the Kingdom”, a track off Beyonce’s ‘Black is King’ album, at King Charles’s coronation, making her the first Nigerian to do this.
Nigerians weren’t left out in the field of fashion, as Nigerian designer, Adeju Thompson won the 2023 Woolmark grand prize of two hundred thousand Australian dollars, in addition to being stocked globally and mentorship from the world’s biggest names in fashion.
His attention to detail, his non-binary style, and his sustainable way of producing his garments helped earn him the prize.
Last but not least is Nigerian chef Hilda Bassey who broke the Guineas world record for the longest time spent cooking. A record which Indian chef Lata Tondon formerly held with a record time of 87 hours, 45 minutes. While Hilda broke this record with a new record-breaking time of 100 hours!

Nigeria may have its challenges, it is however without a shadow of a doubt that it is a great nation with great people.
