LOUIS VUITTON NAMES BLAKE HARROPAS NEW DIRECTOR OF IMAGE AND COMMUNICATIONS

Following Stefano Cantino's departure to take on a new role at Gucci alongside Jean-François Palus as Deputy CEO, Louis Vuitton, a leading entity of LVMH, has swiftly appointed Blake Harrop as the successor. Previously at the helm of Wieden+Kennedy, a global communications agency network with ten agencies worldwide, Harrop is set to embark on his new journey with Louis Vuitton at the start of May, stepping in as the Vice-President and Director of Image and Communications.

The British executive is poised to leverage his extensive international experience for Louis Vuitton, drawing from his impactful work across various global markets, including Shanghai, Tokyo, and Europe since 2010. Harrop has spearheaded projects for illustrious brands such as Nike, Montblanc, and Ray-Ban, in addition to managing initiatives for social media giants Facebook and Instagram.

With a distinguished background as a former elite judoka, Harrop has also contributed his expertise to Samsung in South Korea and the United States, where he crafted marketing strategies focused on social media and mobile technologies starting in the late 2000s.

Settling in Paris for his new role, Harrop will report directly to Pietro Beccari, the CEO of Louis Vuitton. His leadership will be crucial in guiding the brand's image and communications strategy, for a brand that boasts sales exceeding €20 billion.
